Ilmun Nahw (Knowledge of Syntax) : This work is an English translation of an elementary book on Arabic grammar. The subject of Ilmun Nahw are words and subjects with the object to understand the Qur’an and Hadith and ultimately gain the pleasure of Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala.
Ilm un-Nahw is the knowledge which shows how to join a noun, verb and particle to form a correct sentence, as well as what the I’iraab (diacritical mark) the condition of the last letter of a word should be. Includes examples, tables and exercises.
The object of learning this branch of knowledge is to save one from making any mistakes in speaking and writing Arabic. The object is to join words together to form a sentence, and also correctly uttering them or writing them; this is the benefit for one gained in learning Ilmun Nahw.
